Currently have a UTI? Check out our UTI Emergency Kit to help find relief. You can test if you have a UTI, quickly relieve pain and burning, and control the infection until you can see a medical professional. Note that none of Uqora's products are intended for treatment, and you should always connect with your medical provider when you have a UTI.

We are here for you, no matter where you are on your urinary tract health journey, but are huge advocates of proactive health. Check out our proactive urinary tract supplements here.

You can take Defend and Promote, even if you are on antibiotics (unless otherwise instructed by your doctor). We recommend getting started right away!

We do not recommend drinking Flush while on antibiotics. Flush contains potassium and potassium citrate. It can be important to monitor intake of potassium while on antibiotics. You can begin Flush once you’re finished with your antibiotic treatment.

In the UTI Emergency Kit, you can use the UTI Test Strips and UTI Pain Relief while on antibiotics. We do not recommend using UTI Infection Control while on antibiotics due to this product containing methenamine, which can have possible interactions with medications.

Keep in mind, Uqora’s products are not a treatment. We always recommend checking with your doctor about any questions or concerns about your specific antibiotics/medications.

The ingredients used in Uqora’s dietary supplement products are safe to consume with minimum side effects. There is some anecdotal evidence on the internet that high doses of d-mannose, an ingredient in our Flush and Defend products may cause bloating or loose stool.

There are 600mg in 2 capsules of Defend and 2000mg in one packet of Flush. We recommend following the suggested use of our products. However, we always recommend checking with your doctor about any specific questions or concerns.

If you have a sensitive stomach, we recommend taking Uqora with food for better digestion.

Yes, we have many male customers in our community that have found success with Uqora! For men, we recommend taking Uqora Defend and Uqora Flush daily. If you use a catheter, we recommend drinking Flush following catheter use as well. The only product that wouldn’t be effective for you would be Promote, which is a vaginal probiotic.

You can find more information here.

Consult your physician before use if pregnant, nursing, taking blood thinners or if you have a history of kidney, liver or gallbladder issues. If you take blood thinners, curcumin, an ingredient in Defend, may cause additional blood thinning. Stop use and see your physician if you develop symptoms of liver problems, such as fatigue, jaundice, and dark urine.

We also always recommend checking with your doctor about any questions or concerns about your specific medications.

Each person's urinary tract health needs are unique. Our 3-part proactive regimen provides our maximum support because each product works together to cover urinary health from a different angle: flush the urinary tract with Flush, cleanse biofilm & support bladder wall integrity with Defend, and maintain healthy vaginal bacteria with Promote. All 3 products together create the Complete Regimen

A majority of Uqora customers take all 3 (Flush, Defend and Promote) for our maximum support. If you’re not sure what’s right for you, we recommend taking our quiz or reaching out to us at support@uqora.com!

No, our 3-part regimen is not sequential. You can take the products in any order that works best for you.

Products

Mix 1 packet of Flush in 8-12oz of water and drink after sex, and at least every 3 days. Even if you are not sexually active, Flush is beneficial to help regularly flush the urinary tract.

Flush can be taken at any time of day. If you are also taking Uqora’s other proactive urinary tract health supplements (Uqora Defend and/or Uqora Promote), it is safe to take all together, swallowing each separately.

Take 2 capsules of Defend together daily with water. Consistency is the key so taking Defend at a time that is easy for you to remember will help!

Defend can be taken at any time of day. If you are also taking Uqora’s other proactive urinary tract health supplements (Uqora Flush and/or Uqora Promote), it is safe to take all together, swallowing each separately.

Take 1 capsule of Promote daily with water. Consistency is the key so taking Promote at a time that is easy for you to remember will help!

Promote can be taken at any time of day. If you are also taking Uqora’s other proactive urinary tract health supplements (Uqora Flush and/or Uqora Defend), it is safe to take all together, swallowing each separately.

Take one capsule of Promote orally with water daily. Promote should not be inserted vaginally.

Yes, Flush, Defend, and Promote are meant to be taken together. It does not matter what time of day you take the products. Consistency is key for success, so we recommend taking the products at whatever time is best for you.

Be sure to take the products as directed for best results: Drink Flush after sex (if sexually active) and at least every 3 days, take 2 capsules of Defend daily, take 1 capsule of Promote daily. Get the Complete Regimen here.

Uqora can be taken with or without food. However, if you have a sensitive stomach, you might prefer taking the products with food.

Yes, many of our customers drink Flush daily. To be extra safe, we recommend you don’t exceed taking more than 3 individual packets per day.

We do not recommend drinking Flush while on antibiotics because Flush contains potassium and it may be important to limit potassium intake while on some antibiotics. You should begin Flush as soon as you have completed your antibiotics. Keep in mind, Uqora’s products are not a treatment.

D-mannose is classified as a carbohydrate, and there are 2 grams. However, because insubstantial amounts of D-Mannose are used by the body, it should not interfere with healthy blood sugar regulation.

Green tea is an ingredient in Uqora Defend, but caffeine is removed from the green tea leaves as part of the extraction process. This ensures that there is less than 7 mg of caffeine in Uqora Defend. A cup of coffee has about 120 mg of caffeine so this is a very trace amount.

The orange color you’re seeing is curcumin powder (one of the ingredients in Defend). Because of the nature of curcumin, there can be some slight variations in color month over month — that's completely normal!

The Defend capsules can be opened and mixed in with food. Since the ingredients weren't designed to be mixed with water, they may not dissolve fully in a drink. The Promote capsules can be opened but it's not ideal, because bacteria may start to die off.

No. Promote is a probiotic designed for vaginal health, not digestive health. Not all probiotics are the same, and there are many different types of lactobacillus, and they live in different parts of the body. The types of lactobacillus in Promote are specific to the vagina.

Use any time you want to freshen up. That might be after sex, exercise, long plane rides — you know your body better than anyone.

Purified Water, Sodium Cocoyl Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Glycerin,  Hamamelis Virgininana (Witch Hazel) Water, Potassium Sorbate, Honey, Maltodextrin, Chamomilia Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Citric Acid, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, OenotheraBiennis (Evening Primrose) Oil, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil.

No. A lot of companies will say that wipes are flushable because they’re biodegradable—but we respectfully disagree! Our wipes are biodegradable, but flushing biodegradable wipes can still cause plumbing issues. So, we recommend disposing of wipes in the trash after use.

Yes, our Wipes are free of dyes, alcohol, sulfates and parabens.

UTI Infection Control comes in the UTI Emergency Kit and includes 12 tablets that help control a UTI by helping to inhibit the progression of infection.

Uqora UTI Infection Control is a good option for you if you want antibacterial protection and want to control a UTI.

Uqora UTI Infection Control includes two active ingredients — sodium salicylate  and methenamine, a powerful duo. Methenamine is an antibacterial medicine that slows the growth of bacteria along the urinary tract, helping you to control the UTI. Sodium salicylate is a pain reliever, to help relieve general pain and discomfort while sodium salicylate does its thing.

*Note that while Uqora UTI Infection Control inhibits the progression of an infection, it should not replace medical care and is just intended to slow the infection progression until you’re able to see your healthcare provider.

In short, UTI Infection Control works by generating formaldehyde in the urine. The formaldehyde is toxic to the bacteria and slows their growth.

Additional questions about Uqora UTI Infection Control:

How do I purchase UTI Infection Control?

You can purchase the UTI Emergency Kit directly on our website here: uqora.com/products/uti-emergency-kit

What is the difference between UTI Pain Relief and UTI Infection Control?

UTI Pain Relief relieves UTI pain and burning while UTI Infection Control helps control the infection until you can see a doctor. UTI Pain Relief and UTI Infection Control are complementary and can be taken together.

Can I take UTI Infection Control for more than 3 days?

Please stop use and consult your healthcare professional before taking UTI Infection Control for more than three days.

Can I take UTI Infection Control with Uqora's other products?

UTI Infection Control can be safely taken alongside any of Uqora’s other products. However, products that decrease the acidity of the urine (such as antacids, sodium bicarbonate, potassium or sodium citrate, carbonic anhydrase inhibitors such as acetazolamide) may reduce the effectiveness of UTI Infection Control. Since Uqora Flush makes the urine less acidic, taking Uqora Flush alongside UTI Infection Control may reduce the effectiveness of UTI Infection Control. While it is safe to do so, we recommend not taking Flush and UTI Infection Control together for this reason.

Can I take UTI Infection Control and UTI Pain Relief together?

Yes! UTI Pain Relief and UTI Infection Control are complementary and can be taken together.

Can I chew the UTI Infection Control tablets?

No. The tablets are intended to be taken whole, and should not be cut, chewed or crushed. This helps the active ingredients reach the urine.

Can men take UTI Infection Control?

Yes! UTI Infection Control works the same way for men as it does for women.

Can I give UTI Infection Control to a child?

UTI Infection Control is not recommended for children under the age of 12, unless specifically instructed by a healthcare professional.

Can I take UTI Infection Control if I am pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Please consult your healthcare professional before taking UTI Infection Control if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Can I take only half of a UTI Infection Control tablet?

No, the tablets are intended to be taken whole. Cutting the tablet will break the thin protective coating which helps protect the medicine in the stomach.

Will UTI Infection Control change the color of my urine?

No, UTI Infection Control will not change the color of your urine. But UTI Pain Relief will (just a heads up).

Will UTI Infection Control cure my UTI?

No. The only clinically proven cure for a UTI is a prescription antibiotic. UTI Infection Control will help inhibit the progression of infection until you see a healthcare professional. UTI Infection Control is not intended to replace medical care.

How long can I take UTI Infection Control?

Adults and children 12 years and over: take 2 tablets with a full glass of water 3 times a day. Stop and ask a doctor if you’ve used UTI Infection Control for 3 days.

Will UTI Infection Control interfere with prescription medications?

Please consult your doctor if you are taking any other prescription medications before taking UTI Infection Control. UTI Infection Control should not be taken with sulfonamide drugs. Products that decrease the acidity of the urine (such as antacids, sodium bicarbonate, potassium or sodium citrate, carbonic anhydrase inhibitors such as acetazolamide) may reduce the effectiveness of UTI Infection Control. Since Uqora Flush makes the urine less acidic, taking Uqora Flush alongside UTI Infection Control may reduce the effectiveness of UTI Infection Control. UTI Infection Control should not be taken with anticoagulants, steroid drugs, or in addition to other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen and others).

UTI Test Strips in the UTI Emergency Kit is a pack of 2 individually wrapped test strips. Our test strips includes the same test that doctors use to see if you might have a UTI.

Our UTI Test Strips are a good option for you if you suspect you have a UTI and you want to see your test results in just two minutes.

The UTI Test Strips work by detecting whether Nitrite and Leukocytes are present in your urine. Nitrites are a form of nitrogen that will often present itself if bacteria like E. coli are present in the urine. Leukocytes are white blood cells, which tend to show up when there’s inflammation or an infection in the urinary tract. The test evaluates if leukocyte esterase, an enzyme produced by white blood cells, is present in the urine. Generally, if both nitrites and leukocytes are detected in your urine, it’s likely that you have a UTI.

NOTE: UTI Test Strips will only detect certain types of bacteria, but not all. However, it will detect E. coli which is responsible for about 90% of all non-hospital associated UTIs.

Additional questions about UTI Test Strips:

Why is morning urine the best for testing?

Bacteria require time to convert nitrates to nitrites. Testing in the morning, assuming you have slept for at least four hours without urinating, allows the bacteria sufficient time to complete the conversion and provide a rich sample for testing.

How do I interpret my UTI Test Strips results?

Use the following table to determine what your test results mean. Remember, they are only one piece of information your doctor needs in order to treat you.

If Leukocytes (LEU) and Nitrite (NIT) are both negative, this suggest no sign of a UTI.

When a trace LEU result appears or if you have symptoms, test again the following day with your first morning urine using a new test strip. If you get another trace LEU or if you still have symptoms, consult. your physician.

If one result is negative and one result is positive, this suggest you may have a UTI. Repeat the test next time you urinate using a new test strip. Make sure you wash the genital area first. If a one result is still positive, consult your physician.

If results are both positive, this suggest you may have a UTI. Consult. your physician immediately.

What should I tell my doctor if I get a positive result?

You should tell your doctor that your Uqora UTI Test Strips results are positive for nitrites and/or white blood cells (leukocytes).

How do I purchase UTI Test Strips?

You can purchase the UTI Emergency Kit directly on our website here: uqora.com/products/uti-emergency-kit

What does a positive result mean?

When used properly, UTI Test Strips can detect that you may have a UTI. UTI Test Strips test for both leukocytes (white blood cells) and nitrites. These tests performed together are more effective for detecting a UTI than testing for nitrite alone.

Can I get a positive result even though I do not have a UTI?

No. However, the white blood cell (leukocyte) portion of the test can be positive if:

The genital area is not cleaned thoroughly; there is vaginal discharge or menstrual blood in the urine; or if there is an inflammation in the urinary tract. However, with any positive result, please contact your healthcare professional.

How should I store UTI Test Strips?

UTI Test Strips should be stored at room temperature (59°-86°F) and away from direct sunlight. Do not refrigerate and do not store in the bathroom (due to moisture from the shower and fluctuating heat).

How does the nitrite test relate to a UTI?

Certain bacteria change nitrate, found in most urine, to nitrite. This change does not happen naturally in the urine. As a result, if the nitrite test is positive, it means that you have bacteria in your urine and likely have a UTI.

How does the white blood cell (leukocyte) test relate to a UTI?

White blood cells, also called leukocytes, are produced by the body in response to the presence of an infection.

Why is there more than one possible color for a positive UTI test result? Does a darker colored test result mean I have a more severe UTI?

No. Each person's body chemistry is unique and will create a different shade of color on the test pads. There are several possible positive results.

What does a spotty result mean?

Most likely the urine sample test was contaminated. We recommend testing again, making sure the sample is clean and free of soap, vaginal discharge, menses or some other contaminant.

What are the limits of Uqora’s UTI Test Strips?

Under certain conditions, you may get a negative result even though you have a UTI. If your infection is caused by bacteria that does not change nitrate to nitrite, if your diet does not include nitrates, or if the urine has not been held in the bladder long enough (at least 4 hours), you may get a negative nitrite result. If there are only a small number of white blood cells (Leukocytes) in the urine, you may get a negative leukocyte result. Always contact your healthcare professional when UTI symptoms persist. A negative UTI test is never a confirmation of no infection.

Can I use UTI Test Strips while taking Uqora's other products?

We do not recommend using UTI Test Strips while taking UTI Pain Relief or Uqora Flush. UTI Pain Relief contains phenazopyridine hydrochloride, an orange organic dye. This dye enters the urine to take effect and relieve UTI pain. However, it also turns the urine bright orange! Since our UTI Test Strips test strips use color to indicate if you might have a UTI, the orange urine will make them more difficult to interpret. If you’ve purchased both together, we suggest using UTI Test Strips before taking UTI Pain Relief.

Uqora Flush contains Vitamin C. High intake of Vitamin C may impact the results of the UTI Test by impacting the perceived color. This could lead to a false negative nitrite result. For these reasons, while safe, we do not recommend taking UTI Pain Relief or Uqora Flush before using UTI Test Strips.

Can I use UTI Test Strips during my menstrual cycle?

This is not recommended because traces of menses can produce a false positive white blood cell (leukocyte) result.

Can men use UTI Test Strips?

Yes! UTI Test Strips work the same way for men as it does for women.

If I am taking an antibiotic, will it affect the UTI test?

Your healthcare professional may recommend that you test your urine again after completing the antibiotic treatment. If the UTI Test Strip result is positive, contact your healthcare professional and always follow instructions for taking an antibiotic even if the strip result is negative.

Do Uqora’s UTI Test Strips detect STDs, HIV, cancer, protein, yeast or sugar in the urine?

UTI Test Strips will not identify anything other than the presence of white blood cells (Leukocytes) and nitrites in the urine. These are indications that you might have a UTI.

Will common foods, alcohol, or medications affect my test results?

Most substances will not interfere with the test. However, some medications, like UTI Pain Relief, can affect the color of your urine, making it difficult to properly match the colors. For example, if you take more than 500 mg of Vitamin C in 24 hours, you may obtain a false negative nitrite result. The drug tetracycline may also cause a false negative leukocyte result. If you are having difficulty reading the test strip or getting a negative result while experiencing UTI symptoms, contact your healthcare professional immediately.

Since UTI Test Strips use color to indicate if you might have a UTI, the orange urine will make them more difficult to interpret. If you’ve purchased both together, we suggest using UTI Test Strips before taking UTI Pain Relief.

Uqora Flush contains Vitamin C. High intake of Vitamin C may impact the results of the UTI Test Strip by impacting the perceived color. This could lead to a false negative nitrite result. For these reasons, while safe, we do not recommend taking UTI Pain Relief or Uqora Flush before using UTI Test Strips.

Uqora’s UTI Pain Relief includes 24 tablets that provide fast relief of UTI symptoms like pain, discomfort, urgency, and burning.

Uqora’s UTI Pain Relief is a good option for you if you have a UTI and need fast relief for urinary pain or discomfort.

UTI Pain Relief’s active ingredient, Phenazopyridine Hydrochloride, works by lining the mucosa of the urinary tract with a topical analgesic, which provides UTI pain relief. Heads up, the active ingredient in UTI Pain Relief can turn your urine a bright orange color—that’s a normal part of how this ingredient works, so don’t be alarmed.

Additional questions about UTI Pain Relief:

What is the difference between UTI Pain Relief and UTI Infection Control?

UTI Pain Relief relieves UTI pain and burning while UTI Infection Control helps control the infection until you can see a doctor. UTI Pain Relief and UTI Infection Control are complementary and can be taken together.

Can I take UTI Pain Relief and UTI Infection Control together?

Yes! UTI Pain Relief and UTI Infection Control are complementary and can be taken together.

Will UTI Pain Relief change the color of my urine?

Yes, this is normal! UTI Pain Relief’s active ingredient is an orange organic dye. It takes action to relieve pain when it enters the urine, but it will turn the urine bright orange.

Will UTI Pain Relief stain my skin?

The active ingredient in UTI Pain Relief’s tablet can stain skin and clothing. When using, handle with care. The tablets should be taken whole, and should not be cut, chewed, crushed, or dissolved.

Can I chew the UTI Pain Relief tablets?

No, the active ingredient inside the UTI Pain Relief tables can stain your teeth and mouth, as well as skin and clothing. The tablets should be taken whole, and should not be cut, chewed, crushed, or dissolved.

Can I take only half of a UTI Pain Relief tablet?

No, please take the tablets whole. Breaking open the tablets will release the active ingredient inside, which can stain skin and clothing. When using, handle with care. The tablets should be taken whole, and should not be cut, chewed, crushed, or dissolved.

Does UTI Pain Relief contain any allergens?

Phenazopyridine hydrochloride is an orange organic dye. If you are sensitive to dyes in foods then you may be sensitive to UTI Pain Relief. We recommend you consult your healthcare professional before taking, especially when concerned about potential allergies.

Can men take UTI Pain Relief?

Yes! UTI Pain Relief works the same way for men as it does for women.

This specialized vulva cleanser is inspired by your body’s chemistry. Lactobacilli bacteria (aka healthy bacteria) release lactic acid and hydrogen peroxide in the vagina. Our formula includes lactic acid and hydrogen peroxide in the same pH range as they appear in a healthy vagina, so you can cleanse your vulva without compromising your vaginal or urinary health.

Additional questions about Wash:

How do I buy Wash?

You can buy Wash at this link here. If you have a subscription, you can add it within your account portal. You can sign into your account here: https://uqora.com/tools/recurring/get-subscription-access

How do I use Wash?

When showering, dispense a dime-sized amount into your hand. Use your hand to apply to your vulva, lather and rinse. For best application, shake before use. You can use Wash any time you’re in the shower. Note that this cleanser is designed for your vulva, the area that surrounds and includes the vaginal opening. It’s not intended to be used for internal use (aka in the vagina).

Does Wash have a scent?

No, Wash does not have a scent.

What’s the pH of Wash?

Wash is designed for a pH of 4.5. Healthy vaginal pH is 4.5.

Is Wash vegan?

Yes, Wash is vegan.

How should I store Wash?

Wash should be stored in a temperature range between 50-80 degrees Fahrenheit. At lower temperatures the Wash can start to congeal, making it harder to pour from the bottle.

I’ve heard mixed things about washes. How is this different from other washes?

We know—it’s confusing. There are a lot of bad washes out there and way too much vagina & vulva shaming. Our take? If you haven’t used a wash and haven’t felt like you needed one, then skip it! We just want to provide a safe option for anyone that is looking for one. Almost all body and intimate washes currently on the market include a lot of unnecessary ingredients ranging from preservatives and emulsification chemicals to essential oils and plant extracts, which can all disrupt vaginal pH. Uqora Wash is a clean formula inspired by the natural chemistry of the vagina for anyone looking for a reliable and safe option.

What are the ingredients?

Only 7 ingredients in total, we think simple is better. We’ve included what is naturally present in the vagina (and very little else) to keep you balanced, without throwing your body chemistry out of whack.

  • Water: the base to the formulation, water provides the vehicle to carry the rest of the ingredients.

  • Coco glucoside: another name for oils derived from coconuts, these are “surfactants” and provide the soap-like properties that allow for washing away dirt and other particles.

  • Lactic acid: lactobacilli is a genus of bacteria that live naturally in the vagina and inner vulva. They break down sugars into lactic acid. This process keeps vaginal pH low and bad bacteria have a more difficult time growing with high amounts of lactic acid around. Other products use vinegar or citric acid to acidify, but why not use the process our bacteria already use?

  • Hydrogen peroxide: lactobacilli in the vagina also release hydrogen peroxide in low concentrations. In addition to acidifying, hydrogen peroxide also oxygenates the surface of the vagina and vaginal opening which further makes it difficult for bad bacteria to thrive.

  • Hydroxyethylcellulose: cellulose is a plant-derived fiber that is included to thicken the formulation. Without this, the product would have the consistency of water and would be difficult to collect in your hand to be lathered.
  • Gluconolactone & Sodium Benzoate: Gluconolactone and Sodium Benzoate are used as preservatives to ensure quality shelf life. Derived from Sugar Beet, Gluconolactone is also known for its skin benefits. Sodium Benzoate is derived from green tea's Benzoic Acid.

General questions

Uqora’s proactive urinary tract health supplements are designed as a 3-part regimen. You can take each product on its own, but it is recommended to take all 3 together for our maximum support. Here’s how each product works:

Part 1: Flush

Flush is an easy and effective drink mix to flush the urinary tract. Key ingredients include d-mannose to bind to microorganisms in the urine, potassium citrate helps to alkalize the urine, and vitamin C provides immune support. Drink after sex and at least every 3 days to flush the urinary tract. Flush is recommended for anyone looking for better urinary health, regardless of sexual activity.

Part 2: Defend

Defend is a daily urinary health supplement designed to cleanse biofilm according to mechanism research, which helps to support urinary tract health on a day-to-day basis. It also includes Vitamin D to support bladder wall integrity. Defend is recommended for anyone looking for ongoing urinary tract health support.

Part 3: Promote

Vaginal health is a key component of urinary tract health. Promote is a daily vaginal probiotic (taken orally) to help maintain healthy vaginal bacteria. Promote includes three specific strains of “good” lactobacillus bacteria. Promote includes Lactobacillus Acidophilus, Lactobacillus Rhamnosus, and Lactobacillus Reuteri. Lactobacilli live naturally in a healthy vagina and release acids to balance vaginal pH. When consumed orally, these bacteria can travel from the gut to the vagina.

If urinary health impacts your life, we recommend all 3 for our complete urinary health regimen. You can also find more detailed information about how each product works here.

Yes, Uqora is safe for older adults.

Yes, Uqora can help during and after menopause. As women age, it becomes more difficult to maintain urinary health. With growing age, the immune system weakens, making women more vulnerable to not just urinary issues, but other health issues.  Plus, menopause causes significant changes in women’s hormone levels, which can affect the makeup of the vaginal microbiome.  An imbalance in the vaginal microbiome can disrupt the urogenital system.

If you’re postmenopausal or menopausal, we recommend our Complete Regimen because it addresses both vaginal and urinary health.

We are here for you and want to make sure you know you are supported! To hear from and talk to others with similar experiences, we recommend joining our Facebook group, The Uqora Collective.

It is normal for your Defend capsules to have slight color variations. Defend contains turmeric root extract, a nutrient that helps cleanse biofilm. Turmeric is a root, which means it grows underground, so this ingredient can have natural, seasonal variability which contributes to the color variation. Uqora products are made with safe, effective, high-quality ingredients, and the variation of capsule colors will not change your results with the products.

All of Uqora’s products are manufactured in the United States using US and globally-sourced ingredients.

Uqora is safe to take with your birth control. It won't impact its effectiveness at all.

Yes! Uqora products are FSA eligible. You can find more information on the page here: https://uqora.com/pages/hsa-fsa-info

D-Mannose, one of the ingredients in Uqora, is a type of carbohydrate, but found at lower levels than glucose and fructose in the diet.  It does not affect blood sugar in healthy individuals. We recommend consulting your doctor before use.

Uqora Flush includes Vitamin C and we recommend speaking with your physician about your personal vitamin C intake as some blood glucose monitors and test strips have reported false high blood glucose readings after high doses of vitamin C intake, which could result in missing a severe low glucose event. Flush includes 480mg per packet.

The ingredients used in Uqora’s dietary supplement products are safe to consume. However, we always recommend checking with your doctor about any specific questions or concerns about any medication you are taking or any specific concerns regarding your medical history. You can also search any medications you are taking on drugs.com to see if your medication has any significant interactions with any other compounds.

We sure do! Reach out to our support team at support@uqora.com using your school email address and we can help with a student discount.

All Uqora products have a shelf life of 2 years and the expiration date should be stamped at the bottom of all our products.

The ingredients used in Uqora’s dietary supplement products are safe to consume. We did want to mention that caffeine is removed from green tea leaves as part of the extraction process to ensure that there is less than 1 mg of caffeine in Uqora Defend, a trace amount. A cup of coffee has about 120 mg of caffeine so this is just a trace amount, for comparison.

In general, though, it is hard to do good research in pregnant or breastfeeding populations, so the ingredients have not been specifically studied in women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. This is the case for any dietary supplement products or medications. For this reason, we do always recommend you speak with your physician about any specific concerns you may have.

No. Uqora is not a treatment. Our UTI Emergency Kit contains an over-the-counter medicine to help manage symptoms of a UTI until you can see a doctor. Our proactive urinary tract health supplements are designed to help maintain urinary health. If you suspect you have a UTI, it is advised to seek medical treatment as soon as possible.

If you struggle with bacterial imbalances in the vagina, but not urinary health, we recommend just Uqora Promote. Uqora Promote helps maintain good vaginal bacteria. If you struggle with vaginal bacterial imbalances and urinary health issues, then we recommend our Complete Regimen: Flush, Defend and Promote. You can view these products here

Uqora Defend is not vegan because the vitamin D is sourced from sheep's wool. We chose this source because it is the same version used in clinical research, and we wanted to ensure the efficacy. We apologize for how this may affect our vegan customers. All of the other ingredients in Defend are vegan, as well as all of the ingredients in Uqora Flush and Uqora Promote.

All of Uqora's products are gluten free, however, they are not made in a gluten free facility.

We’re so glad you want to spread the word about Uqora. We’re all in this together. If Uqora’s helped you, we hope you’ll pay it forward by spreading the word.

If you have a friend (or family member, or coworker, or barista … you get the picture) who could use some Uqora in their life, send them to uqora.com/friend for 10% off their first order.

None of Uqora's products include cranberry - that's because studies on cranberry juice and extracts do not consistently show a benefit, as highlighted by a commentary in the Journal of the American Medical Association: “it is time to move on from cranberries.” Uqora takes a new approach to an age-old problem, leveraging the best available clinical research on ingredients shown to be effective.

We’ve heard from a lot of customers who couldn’t get a handle on their urinary health with cranberry juice or cranberry supplements alone, but have seen a great difference with Uqora.

Taking all 3 parts of our proactive supplement regimen supports your urinary health in ways cranberry alone does not.

If you're having trouble finding an FAQ addressing your specific circumstance, feel free to look through our reviews here.

Methenamine can be safely taken alongside Uqora products. However, it's possible Uqora Flush has a neutralizing effect on Methenamine. For Methenamine to work properly, the urine needs to be somewhat acidic. Methenamine is converted to formaldehyde in the urine when the pH is in the lower end of the spectrum and more acidic. Flush includes ingredients to alkalize the urine. While it is safe to take both Methenamine and Flush together, there can be a potential neutralizing effect. For that reason, we recommend speaking with your physician and seeing what's best for you and your specific situation.

If you are taking Methenamine you can continue to take Uqora Defend and Uqora Promote, as those products do not contain alkalizing ingredients.

Please consult your doctor if you are taking any other prescription medications or antibiotics before taking UTI Infection Control. UTI Infection Control should not be taken with sulfonamide drugs. UTI Infection Control should not be taken with anticoagulants, steroid drugs, or in addition to other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen and others).

We always recommend speaking with your doctor if you are on any medications or antibiotics prior to use.

CVS carries the UTI Emergency Kit and our 3-part proactive urinary tract health supplements (Uqora Flush, Uqora Defend and Uqora Promote). Currently, Wipes and Wash are only available at uqora.com.

For those who use non-indwelling catheters, we recommend taking Uqora Defend daily, and drinking Uqora Flush following catheter use. You can view those products here
