1. Is Uqora a treatment for a UTI?
No. If you are experiencing symptoms of a urinary tract infection, we highly recommend that you schedule an appointment with your doctor as soon as possible. Infections can be serious if left untreated.
2. Why take Uqora after sex?
Sexual activity is the most common cause of urinary tract infections. Drinking Uqora within an hour after sexual activity will help protect you when you need it most.
3. How is Uqora different from cranberry juices or extracts?
Uqora is designed with the best available clinical research. The active ingredients in Uqora are found in cranberry juice and extracts but in very low concentrations, so they have little, if any, effect. You would need to drink gallons of cranberry juice to have the same effect as Uqora. You also need to take cranberry products every day. Uqora is the most effective product on the market, with no added sugar and no need to take it every day.
4. How long after sex can I take it?
You should take Uqora within 1 hour after having sex. The sooner the better. Uqora binds to bacteria so they can be flushed out during urination, so the next time you urinate, Uqora will take effect.
5. Can I take it before sex?
You can take Uqora before sex, but remember that Uqora takes effect when you urinate, so if you drink Uqora before sex, try and wait until after to urinate.
6. Is Uqora safe for pregnancy?
Yes. UTIs are common during pregnancy and preventing antibiotic use is particularly important during gestation.
7. Does Uqora work?
In a 308-person study, those taking the active ingredients in Uqora were more than 4 times less likely to develop a UTI than those without. The dose used in the study is the same as in one packet of Uqora. Uqora significantly and safely decreases the risk of developing a UTI.
For more information, please view the ‘Uqora Scientific Background’ at the bottom of this page.
8. Could I take it if I feel like I may have symptoms?
Yes, if you get the ‘feeling’ you might have a UTI coming on, which women can usually sense, drink a packet of Uqora. If you do develop active symptoms, we highly recommend you schedule an appointment with your doctor.
9. Why take it after exercise?
Exercise is a risk factor for urinary tract infections, particularly if you are wearing spandex or undergarments that don’t breathe well. Drinking Uqora after exercise will help maintain urinary health.
10. How much water should I drink with it?
Uqora was designed to be mixed with 8-10 ounces of water for taste and concentration, but you can mix it with more water, or even use two packets for a more effective dose.

Currently ‘pink lemonade’ is our only flavor, though more will be coming soon!

Uqora is very safe. To be extra safe, we recommend you don’t exceed taking more than 5 individual packets per day.
