As I got closer to 40, I went from having 3 UTIs my entire life to living in a cycle of UTIs. About every 3 months, I would wake up and there it was. Doctors kept throwing antibiotics at it, told me to make sure I was wiping correctly, keeping myself dry and clean, the usual. All things I was already doing. In one year I had eight UTIs.
