When should I drink Flush?

Mix one packet of Flush with 8–12 oz of water and drink it after sex, or at least once every three days. Even if you’re not sexually active, Flush is beneficial for regularly flushing the urinary tract. Flush can be taken at any time of day. If you’re also using Uqora’s other proactive urinary tract health supplements (Defend and/or Promote), it’s safe to take them together—just swallow each separately.

Can I drink more than one packet of Flush a day?

Yes, to stay safe, we recommend not exceeding three individual packets per day. We don’t recommend drinking Flush while taking antibiotics, as it contains potassium, and some antibiotics may require limiting potassium intake. You can begin using Flush as soon as you’ve completed your antibiotics. Please note that Uqora’s products are not intended as a substitution to antibiotics.

How many carbs are in one serving of Uqora Flush?

There are 3 grams of carbohydrate in one serving of Flush. D-mannose is a key ingredient in Flush and is classified as a carbohydrate. Flush contains 2 grams of D-mannose. However, because the body uses only minimal amounts of D-mannose, it should not interfere with normal, healthy blood sugar regulation.

Can I take Flush, Defend and Promote in the same day?

Yes. Flush, Defend, and Promote are designed to be taken together. It doesn’t matter what time of day you take them, but consistency is key to success. We recommend taking the products at whatever time works best for you. For best results, be sure to take the products as directed: Drink Flush after sex (if sexually active) and at least every 3 days, up to 3 times daily. Take 2 capsules of Defend daily. Take 1 capsule of Promote daily for 15 consecutive days. For the remainder of the month, take a break from Promote. However, continue taking Flush and Defend while Promote is "off." Restart the 15-day regimen at the beginning of each month for month-long support.

Biofilm is a collection of microorganisms bound together (in a matrix) that attaches to surfaces.

Does Uqora have caffeine in it?

Green tea leaf extract is an ingredient in Defend, but the caffeine is removed during the extraction process, leaving only a small amount. This small amount is unlikely to have a stimulating effect, but individuals who are highly sensitive to caffeine may prefer to take Defend earlier in the day.

Why are Uqora Defend capsules orange?

The orange color you're seeing is curcumin powder, one of the ingredients in Defend. Due to the natural properties of curcumin, slight color variations can occur from month to month — this is completely normal!

What’s the difference between In Control and Defend?

In Control is for bladder control support and Defend is for proactive urinary tract health. In Control uses clinically-studied ingredients to help with occasional overactive bladder and urinary incontinence due to normal aging. If you experience urinary urgency, frequency, leaks or nighttime bathroom trips, we recommend In Control to support healthy bladder function.† If you struggle with recurring urinary tract issues, we recommend Defend as part of our proactive urinary tract health regimen. How does Promote help with urinary health?

Promote is a clinically studied 15-day formula which includes lactoferrin and 2 strains of “good” bacteria. Lactoferrin works with the lactic acid bacteria to promote a healthy vaginal microbiome – which is key since vaginal health & urinary health are tightly linked. †

Does Promote help with digestion?

No, Promote is a probiotic designed for vaginal health, not digestive health. Not all probiotics are the same, as there are many different types of lactic acid bacteria. The specific types of lactic acid bacteria in Promote are intended to colonize the vagina and provide vaginal health benefits. †

Lactoferrin is a protein that works together with good lactic acid producing bacteria to support a healthy vaginal microbiome. By promoting a balanced vaginal environment, lactoferrin aids lactic acid bacteria in reducing itching and discharge, providing month-long comfort for your vaginal health. †

Can I take Promote if I am lactose intolerant?

One ingredient in Promote, Lactoferrin, is derived from milk. Reactions to different milk-derived ingredients may vary based on a person's sensitivity to lactose. Promote has never been specifically studied in those with lactose intolerance. Therefore, we recommend that individuals with lactose intolerance concerns speak to their healthcare practitioner before taking Promote.

Why aren't there more strains in Promote?

Very happy

A good product from a decent company
I've been on the complete regimen for a few years now, and it *drastically* reduced the number of infections I was getting. I went from having 3-4 within an 8 month span to having maybe one a year (even going nearly two years without one.)
I do feel like I had better balance with the old formula of the probiotic, and it's frustrating that the change was made without contacting their customer base about it. The fact that the price was unchanged for less product, and even increased, still does not sit well with me.
I was also told, when the 1 year anniversary of my subscription came around, to expect something in the mail, and nothing ever came. Maybe that's petty to point out, but it did seem like someone dropped the ball.
Generally Staff is always very helpful, and are even great to adjust the price for you if you rely on the product but can no longer afford it. I am very grateful to them for that, as it's already expensive to live with frequent UTIs, and they seem to know this.
On the whole, it's a good product and more importantly it DOES work! Sometimes the company drops the ball but that's any company anymore.
