Can I take Promote alongside the other products (Flush and Defend)?
Yes, Defend, Flush and Promote, are meant to be taken together. All together, these products make up our Complete Regimen - our most popular product bundle. Taking all three products together provides you with our maximum support. Flush’s (our drink mix) D-mannose works to flush the urinary tract. Flush also delivers immune support. Ingredients in Defend cleanse biofilm according to mechanism research and includes vitamin D to help support bladder wall integrity. Promote’s ingredients supply “good” lactic acid bacteria plus lactoferrin that support vaginal health. This is key since vaginal health and urinary health are connected. Does Promote help with digestion?
No. Promote is a probiotic designed for vaginal health, not digestive health. Not all probiotics are the same, and there are many different types of lactobacillus, and they live in different parts of the body. The types of lactobacillus in Promote are specific to the vagina.
Why aren't there more strains in Promote?
We’ve included the strains shown to maintain vaginal health and have decided to not include anything extra. Why? Microbiomes are sensitive ecosystems, and we believe it is better to not include strains with unknown impact.
What is lactoferrin?
Lactoferrin is a protein that works together with good lactic acid bacteria to support a healthy vaginal microbiome. By promoting a balanced vaginal environment, lactoferrin aids lactic acid bacteria in reducing itching and discharge, providing month-long comfort for your vaginal health.
Can I use Promote if I am lactose intolerant?
One ingredient in Promote, Lactoferrin, is derived from milk. Reactions to different milk-derived ingredients may vary based on a person's sensitivity to lactose. Promote has never been specifically studied in those with lactose intolerance. Therefore, we recommend that individuals with lactose intolerance concerns speak to their healthcare practitioner before taking Promote.
