How to take Uqora UTI relief products
What it is:
UTI Pain Relief includes 24 tablets that provide fast relief of UTI symptoms like pain, discomfort, urgency and burning.
How to use with other Uqora products:
UTI Pain Relief can be safely taken alongside any of Uqora's products. When using with our UTI test strips, we recommend using the test strips before UTI Pain Relief.
The UTI Pain Relief's active ingredient is a dye that enters the urine to take effect and relieve UTI pain. However, it also turns the urine bright orange! Since the test strips use color to indicate if you might have a UTI, the orange urine will make them more difficult to interpret.
What it is:
UTI Infection Control includes 24 tablets that help control a UTI by helping to inhibit the progression of infection. This is a good option for you if you want antibacterial protection and want to control a UTI. Note: UTI Infection Control should not replace medical care and is intended to slow the infection progression until you're able to see your healthcare provider.
How to use with other Uqora products and any medications:
UTI Infection Control can be taken alongside any of Uqora's pain relief and diagnostic products. Products that decrease the acidity of the urine may reduce the effectiveness of UTI Infection Control. This is a complimentary product to UTI Pain Relief and both can be taken together.
If you are taking any prescription medications, please consult with your doctor before taking UTI Infection Control. This should not be taken with sulfonamide drugs.
What it is:
UTI Test Strips is a pack of 2 individually wrapped test strips. The UTI Test Strips are the same test that doctors use to see if you might have a UTI. This is a good option for you if you suspect you have a possible UTI and want to see your test results in just two minutes.
UTI Test Strips will only detect certain types of bacteria, but not all. It will detect E. coli which is responsible for about 90% of all non-hospitable associated UTIs.
How to use with other Uqora products:
We do not recommend using the UTI Test Strips after taking UTI Pain Relief due to the orange organic dye in the pain relief product.

UTI Pain Relief: Do not exceed recommended dosage. Do not use: if you have Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency unless approved by your physician. If pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a health professional before use. Ask a doctor before use if you have: kidney disease, allergies to foods, preservatives or dyes, had a hypersensitive reaction to phenazopyridine. When using this product: stomach upset may occur, taking this product with or after meals may reduce stomach upset, your urine will become reddish-orange in color. This is not harmful, but care should be taken to avoid staining clothing or other items.Stop use and ask a doctor if: your symptoms last for more than 2 days, you suspect you are having an adverse reaction to the medication, Long-term administration of phenazopyridine hydrochloride has induced neoplasia in rats (large intestine) and mice (liver). Although no association between phenazopyridine hydrochloride and human neoplasia has been reported, adequate epidemiological studies along these lines have not been conducted. Keep out of reach of children. In case of an overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away 1-800-222-1222. UTI Infection Control: If you're on antibiotics, we do not recommend taking UTI Infection Control due to the methenamine. Reye’s syndrome: Children and teenagers who have or are recovering from chicken pox or flu-like symptoms should not use this product. When using this product, if changes in behavior with nausea and vomiting occur, consult a doctor because these symptoms could be an early sign of Reye’s syndrome, a rare but serious illness. Stomach bleeding warning: This product contains a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), which may cause stomach bleeding. The chance is higher if you are 60 or older, have stomach ulcers or bleeding problems, take a blood thinning (anticoagulant) or steroid drug, take other drugs containing an NSAID (aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, or others), have 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day while using this product, take more or for a longer time than directed. Do not use: if you are allergic to salicylates (including aspirin). Ask a doctor before use if you have: frequent, burning urination for the first time, the stomach bleeding warning applying to you, history of stomach problems, such as heartburn high blood pressure, heart disease, liver cirrhosis, bleeding problems, diuretic use, ulcers, kidney disease, a sodium restricted diet, reached age 60 or older. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are: taking any other drug containing an NSAID (prescription or non-prescription), taking a blood thinning (anticoagulant), steroid, diabetes, gout or arthritis drug. When using this product: do not take more than the recommended dosage. Stop use and ask a doctor if: product has been used for 3 days, ringing in the ears, you experience any of the following signs of stomach bleeding: feel faint, vomit blood, have bloody or black stool, have stomach pain or upset that gets worse or lasts. If pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a health professional before use. It is especially important not to use this product (which contains sodium salicylate) during the last 3 months of pregnancy unless definitely directed to do so by a doctor because it may cause problems in the unborn child or complications during delivery. Keep out of the reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away 1-800-222-1222.
