They both feature maximum OTC strength Phenazopyridine HCl to relieve pain, burning, and urgency. The UTI Emergency Kit also contains Methenamine to help control the progression of an infection. The Convenience Bundle also includes Flush, a urinary tract drink mix supplement, to proactively flush the urinary tract.^†

Important Medical Note: No over-the-counter supplement or OTC medication can cure or treat an UTI. An active urinary tract infection requires prescription antibiotics from a healthcare provider. Our OTC relief products are designed to keep you comfortable until you are able to see a doctor and are not designed to treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

The main difference lies in whether you are reactively managing an existing issue or proactively supporting your daily urinary health:

• OTC UTI Relief (Reactive): Products like the UTI Pain Relief tablets and Infection Control tablets in our UTI Emergency Kit are short-term solutions (used for up to 2 days) to manage symptoms of an infection while waiting for medical care.
• Urinary Tract Supplements (Proactive): Products like Flush, Flush Advanced+, Defend, and Promote are daily-use supplements formulated to provide ongoing, proactive urinary tract support. They do not treat active infections but work continuously to maintain a healthy urinary tract environment.

If you are currently fighting an active infection or taking antibiotics, we recommend the following guidelines:

• Proactive supplements: We recommend checking with your doctor before getting started. We do not recommend drinking Flush or Flush Advanced+ while on antibiotics. Flush contains potassium and potassium citrate. It can be important to monitor intake of potassium while on some antibiotics. You can begin Flush once you’re finished with your antibiotic treatment.

Keep in mind, Uqora’s products are not a treatment for UTIs. We always recommend checking with your doctor about any questions or concerns about your specific antibiotics/medications.

• OTC Products & Test Strips: Always follow instructions for taking an antibiotic even if the test strip result is negative. We do not recommend using UTI Infection Control while on antibiotics due to this product containing Methenamine, which can have possible interactions with medications.
