Find out more about Combat

Combat includes 24 tablets that help control a UTI by helping to inhibit the progression of infection.

Combat is a good option for you if you want antibacterial protection and want to control a UTI.

Uqora Combat includes two active ingredients — sodium salicylate and methenamine, a powerful duo. Methenamine is an antibacterial medicine that slows the growth of bacteria along the urinary tract, helping you to control the UTI. Sodium salicylate is a pain reliever, to help relieve general pain and discomfort through while methenamine does its thing. Note that while Combat inhibits the progression of an infection, it should not replace medical care and is just intended to slow the infection progression until you’re able to see your healthcare provider.

Combat works by generating formaldehyde in the urine. The formaldehyde is toxic to the bacteria and slows their growth.

Note that this process just helps inhibit the progression of an infection until you see a health care professional and should not replace medical care.

For adults and children 12 years and over: Take 2 tablets with a full glass of water 3 times a day. Drink plenty of fluids.

For children under 12 years: Ask a doctor.

Do not use for more than a 3 day period unless directed by a doctor.

It’s important to be sure to visit a doctor if you think you have a UTI. Uqora Combat is not meant to replace the care of a doctor, since there is no OTC remedy for urinary tract infections (UTIs) or self-treatment for UTIs. They require prescription medication to completely cure the infection. Contact your healthcare provider immediately if you suspect a urinary tract infection.

Nope!

Please consult your doctor if you are taking any other prescription medications before taking Combat. Combat should not be taken with sulfonamide drugs. Products that decrease the acidity of the urine (such as antacids, sodium bicarbonate, potassium or sodium citrate, carbonic anhydrase inhibitors such as acetazolamide) may reduce the effectiveness of Combat. Since Uqora Target makes the urine less acidic, taking Uqora Target alongside Combat may reduce the effectiveness of Combat. Combat should not be taken with anticoagulants, steroid drugs, or in addition to other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen and others).

Soothe relieves UTI pain and burning while Combat helps control the infection until you can see a doctor. Soothe and Combat are complementary and can be taken together.

Combat can be safely taken alongside any of Uqora’s other products. However, products that decrease the acidity of the urine (such as antacids, sodium bicarbonate, potassium or sodium citrate, carbonic anhydrase inhibitors such as acetazolamide) may reduce the effectiveness of Combat. Since Uqora Target makes the urine less acidic, taking Uqora Target alongside Combat may reduce the effectiveness of Combat. While it is safe to do so, we recommend not taking Target and Combat together for this reason.

From our founder:
I had 8 UTIs in one year…

"I was stuck in the cycle of UTIs for years. I was desperate for a way to get ahead, but was told there was little I could do. This inspired my husband (Spencer) and I to start Uqora, alongside doctors & scientists. With Spencer’s background in biochemistry, and my passion to make a difference in the way we approach urinary health, we got to work. Now, we’ve been able to help over 200,000 people and counting with our UTI relief products and proactive health supplements. Ready to get proactive? You’re in the right place."
